Why I Started This Blog

I've spent 25 years working in tech — as a webmaster, server administrator, and network engineer running enterprise and ISP-grade infrastructure. I know my way around a terminal.

But when AI tools started exploding in 2022, I found myself in unfamiliar territory. The guides I found online were either written for non-technical people who needed everything explained from scratch, or for ML researchers who assumed you already knew what a transformer was.

There wasn't much for someone like me — technically fluent, but new to AI as a practical tool.

So I started figuring it out myself, tool by tool. And along the way, I realized: if a 25-year tech veteran needed a clear starting point, so does everyone else.

That's exactly why this blog exists.
